Can i add my fiance who is in J-1 visa to my green card

Hi !

My fiance got a J-1 Visa and she is coming here to do some research on a texas based university (sorry i don't have all the details about the univ and all). we are planning to get married in April 2006. she got J-1 Visa until 2007. I got a green card. Can i add my fiance to my Green card after we get married, while she is here?

you need to find out first of all if your fiance is subject to the 2 year home residency requirement, cos if he/she is, then even if you are a us citizen that requirement has to be fulfilled.
you would have been better off getting married and filing for a green card for her instead of the j1 visa, i can tell you, j visa can be a nightmare.
