Can I-140 from prev employer be used for 6 year extension

Hello

I am approaching the 6 year limit and my Labor is still not cleared. I had my I-140 cleared from my previous employer. Can I use that for getting an 1 year extension?

Slights I am also following under the same category.
My case is - I filled my GC with company A and also with B.
From the both companies the date of filling of GC is more than
a year.Right now I am working in A company and I would like
to extend my 7 th year extension with A , while I am on
7 th year extension and if company A goes down can I apply
remaining peroid of 7th year extension from company B ?
