Can H4 visa holder work for a Canadian organization from home?

Hello,

A Canadian organization can offer me a job and I can work from home in the US. I wonder if the no employment regulation on H4 visa applies only to US-based employers or any paid job in general.

You may not work at all while on H4. It does not matter where your employer is located, as long as you are in the US, it is not possible.
