I am a canadian permenant resident and to maintain my status in canada i have to be in canada for a period of 2 years in any given 5 year period.. At present I am working for company in USA who has branch in canada. My question is - Can I work from my canada office and maintain both canadian permenant residence and H1b.. Do I have to pay any taxes in canada if I am paying taxes in USA?
