Can enter into US with old employer visa and with new employer petition?

Hi,

I Worked for Employer A until Dec 2012. Have visa stamped until January 2014 based on employer A H1B approval.
Layedoff in december. Employer A said they will revoke the H1B which I am not sure if it is revoked or not.
Employer B filed H1B and received reciept and working for Employer B while waiting for H1B approval.
Due to family emergency left USA in January 2013 and I am in India currently.
Can I re-enter USA on existing non-expired VISA which was stamped based on Employer A?
Do I need to wait until Employer B H1B is approved? If yes, once approved can I enter into US with Employer B approved H1B petition and with Employer A valid visa in the passport.
Also is there any way to know if employer A filed and revoked H1B?

Visa is valid until expiration and is not tied to your first employer. If you have an approval notice for second employer and a valid H1B visa in your passport, you are good to go.
