Hi Gurus,
I was reading Alien00 case and came to know that his I140 was revoked by the employer, how can employer revoke I140? I got laid off after completing 180 days can my employer revoke I140
Thanks

in theory, yes. but since can change job after 180 days, the revokation does not make sense...

Right, but

you better get your AC21 letter to the INS before your former employer revokes your I-140.

The best way is to communicate this with the former employer - I know, it's not always easy...

Russian Ivan...Can u please explain the AC21 letter ?

Lot of postings on this site mention about AC21 rule after 180 days and also they state that you need not do anything till INS sends you RFE . Only if RFE is issued then you have to produce employment letter from the New employer and the pay stubs as proof. Your I-9 form filled up when you join the new employer is enough to come under AC21. This is my understanding..please clarify if I am wrong. Thanks
