Can CP interview be preponed?

I have an medical condition- My Father-in-law is getting operated for cardiac by-pass surgery and hence I would have to be in India in April 3rd week.

My packet 3 was sent to Mumbai consulate on Feb 27th. That would mean I would get interview date sometime in May.

Can I request to prepone, so that I could do both tasks when I am in India ? Has anybody done that before ?
 
Possible

Send an email to the consulate explaining your situation and they might prepone it. I got mine postponed and got it done (so did others) but havent heard many preponing, but email is the only possible way, they reply pretty promptly.

For a hardship like yours , they could do it

Do not wast time , get ton the phone/e-mail now
 
I tried but was rejected

initially did not get any response. Got reply for 2nd email saying that I can only get interview date in April.

I know you got your interview preponed. Did you email them? which email address? and how soon did they get back to you with a response? Is it worth calling them or no? Please advice. I am looking for early May interview.My P3 was entered into system on march 25.
