Hello all,
I need to travel abroad early next year. I filed I-485 and EAD in July 2007. Now I would like to file AP as well. Could someone clarify if AP can be filed without receiving the I-485 receipt?
One response I received on this website's forums stated that the I-485 receipt must be in hand to file AP. However, on the IV forum, someone else posted a similar question and the answer was that I-485 receipt is NOT necessary.
Could someone please direct me to an official notice about filing AP after I-485?
