Can anyone tell me what is the time frame to apply for Consular Processing (CP)?

I am a Chinese, in I-485 pending status (I-140 approved by the end of last year, I have always maintained legal status in USA), now I would like to switch for I-485 to do Consular Processing in China.

(1) I have heard of Guangzhou consulate in China can accept Attorney Certified I-140 [AC-140], is that still true?

(2) What are the necessary steps to apply for consular processing and how long it will take for each step?

(3) What materials I need to prepare? Is there anything I would be alert to prepare?
