My husband and I including family have read the articles in regards to sponsoring an Immigrant but unfortuantly it's very vague and this is where we need help.
I myself and family are very happy to have my husband in the family we've done everything according to the Immigration process but we've come to a full stop the Immigration recently would not approve my sponsoring my husband because my income inadequate and we were married on August 27, 2005. Recently Immigration told me that I need a "Joint Sponsor" but my family are unsure because my husband has been ill and requires mediciation and monthly lab tests and my parents who are debating weather or not to become his sponsor because they are worried they may be forced to pay his medical bills. My fiance petition has been apporved and my husband has receieved his employment authorization card [the one that has his photo and fingerprint on] so what he wants to do is look for work but he's limited b/c he's unable to do physical work. This has been very stressful for both of us and our families we all just want to know what is going to happen to my husband if we cannot find someone to sponsor him? I read of other cases very similiar to this where a group has formed an orgnazation which will sponsor people under special circumstances but I am unable to locate that organazation and don't remember their name. My husband is from Australia he's a very caring and loving person and the family loves him and would hate to see him have to go back, if that's the case then I will join him but this is not what we want to do, we have a very tight knit family here and would hate to be seperated. Can you help us with any information about what we've posted? Thanks
