Can anyone give some reference for visitor Insurance?

Below are some of them, here my/I dosent means me as I just saved this info from some thread.
1) Goto Path2Usa.com, select insurances and then the first one is pretty good. My friends had good experiences in claiming the bills too.
2)ICICI is giving insurance too
My mom just bought insurance from ICICI. The process was easier and friendlier then say LIC or the likes.
3) Go to www.kvrao.org. Right now I have a plan thru them for both my mother and MIL. Serivce was excellent, I got the cards in 3days after I have submitted info and paid the money.
They have 250 deductible which I feel the best part of the plan.
Go for 50K, 250 Deductible, and if your parents are less than 50(age) its much cheaper, even then Its not that expensive. Try it.

Does anyone recommend any particular insurance company based on the claims someone or they have made? The service from the insurance company can be very good and also they may give you a good deal or they may have the best rating with AM Best, but what that matters is whether they have honored claims without any problem.

yes, very much but you hv to claim in India as per my friend experience. They are prompt thou in issuing the payments.
sam99, thank you very much for your info. Can you give me specific details on the claim your friend made? Things like was it a pre-exisiting condition or what type of medical problem the claim was made for etc. Also did your friend take the insurance from Bajaj for people over 60?

My friend visited dentist and few emergency hospital visits here in US and he find it no problem in claiming the money. I dont think bajaj will issue payments for pre-existing diseases like BP, Diab. Person over 60 need to do medical checkup in India before they actually give insurance.
