Can anyone get RFE after FP?

My observations on this topic

Since an IIO does not even begin to adjudicate your case until after FP, S/he will not know what is missing from your application that they need to see. The way I see it, assuming Bongo\'s theory is correct, your case is moved to the the shelf from which IIO\'s pick up the case for adjudication. Again going by Bongo\'s theory, this should happen a week or so before your FP scheduled date. Then your case is reviewed pending approval by the IIO to whom the case is allotted and if they find something that they need to see is missing from your application, they send you an RFE. Just my 2 cents.

I stand corrected

Is that what they are called? Adjudicating Officer? I thought they were all INS Inspectors and the junior of them are assigned as IIO\'s. But, in future I will use the term "Adjudicating Officer" to not cause confusion.
