My lawyer mailed I-140 at 2/4/02 VSC. I didnot receive any receipt number yet. I found that my check (application fee) was cashed 2/28/02. Does this signifies anything? Do they send receipt after check cashed? I seen receipt sent witihin 1 weeks after mailing in this site... please advice.

hang on.. it takes a few days ...for me it took 2 weeks to get it

Get a copy of your check. I heard the receipt number is on the check.
