I\'ve heard different answers on this one. I plan to trade aggresively online, with paper assets such as stocks, options and futures. By definition a day-trader is someone who for example buys and sells a stock the same day in order to profit, and repeats this process for at least 5 days in a row (same idea for options or futures contracts). This trading would be purely done on an amateur level.
