I got my 485 approval a week back.
As I had changed my residence a year back (I sent AR11 twice), one of my friend advised me to call USCIS toll free number and reconfirm the address change. When I called USCIS, they informed me that they can't access my record but as my wife and kid's 485 is not yet approved I asked them to verify the address. The agent took my new/old address and told me that the request will be processed. I am not sure whether the agent might have recorded the names/addresses properly.
Today when I checked online status for my wife and my kid's 485, both the records shows status as "On November 15, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed."
Is this RFE because of address change verification I initiated?
