I'm applying my US Citizen right now and will most likely be approved in a few months. My plan is to apply my mom who is from a Visa Waiver Program country a Green Card. Since she can come to US without a visa, and after I get my citiizenship, can she come to US based on Visa Waiver program and then apply adjustment of status in the US. My research so far is mostly yes, since she will be an "immediate relative" to me (a US citizen then). However, I have heard that if her intent at port of entry is to immigrate to the US (which can be interpreted is the case), then it may cause problem when applying for an adjustment. Can anyone suggest if this is going to be a problem? Can she adjust her status in the US or not?
