Can a newly wed spouse after the visa is issued still become a beneficiary?

It appears we can only get married after the interview.
If all goes well, is possible for the newly wed to still become a beneficiary under this fiscal year after the visa for the primary applicant has been issued?

Unfortunately no. She/he can only benefit if appears on he interview as spouse. Later GC holder can only sponsor his/her spouse but it takes 2 years or so.
 
you can apply for follow-to-join benefits which goes much faster. don't have to wait so long and dv recipients qualify. look it up.
