can a lawyer make difference regarding my spouse case

as i mentioned in a previous thread my wife who is a derivative asylee

her case was transfered to san francisco office,

today i went with my wife to SF office, after i got infopass appointment,

they have no idea when will my wife get interview appointment,

they told us that we have to wait,

my question do you think if i hire a lawyer he can get my wife an interview as soon as possible?

In you case if you have extra money to giveway ..just spend it for good cause..but not for rich lawyer !!
I think interview appointement can't be longer than 6 months..so be patient.
