I need your input to tell me whether a I-485 switches to another I-140 and how to do. I have one I-485 concurrently filed with an EB-1B I-140 in Jan 2005. This I-140 was approved in June, 05. Last week, I'm surprised to receive an approval notice of old EB-1A I-140, which filed in 2003 in same service center. Since the priority date of this I-140 is much earlier than my concurrent filed I-140. Can I switch my I-485 to this I-140? I remember somebody did this way in this forum. I ask my lawyer about it. He said you could not link the I-485 to another I-140, only can file a new I-485 with this I-140. Is it true?
