Can a company help to get O visa?

A company gives me (J-1 visa holder) a offer. But they don\'t know what they can do for me to get a O-1 visa. I only know a academic institute can do that. How about a company?
If it is possible, I will ask a attorney to do it. Usually, how long it will take? Pls give more tips.

Check the O-visa application rules, it is not stated that only
the institute can file an application for you. If the company can proof that
your work is of critical importance for them, I think it should work...
The most of work should be done by you, however.
In my case it took a week to collect all proofs and a month to get
the originals of supporting letters.
I got my O-visa right away in VSC in just a week (I am also J-1 visa holder),
but the application was filed by a university.
