I, holding H-1, am a PhD student and got an offer for a campus job (genome research project with some compensation). What paper work do I need to go through for the campus job? I think that “compensation” could mean several things. If I just receive just expenses (travel expenses, training costs, etc) reimbursed, what is the implication? If I am to do the same H-1 paperwork as if I accept another job from a company, I wouldn’t bother to go for the campus job.
