Came to US under F1 visa, now in H-1B, going back for vacation, chances for visa coming back?

Hi All,

I came to the US 2 years ago under my F1 visa. I grad and got a Master degree, then got a job offer and had my H-1B under a non profit org (edu). I've been working there for over half a year (I have all the pay stubs, letter of employment, I-94,...). My F1 visa has expired. I'm planning to go back to Vietnam in Feb next year . What are my chances of getting a visa to come back to the US? Or should I get a visa in Canada/Mexico first?

It is best to get first COS stamping in your home country.

With legitimate employer and complete documentation and no other unstated issues, you should be fine.
