Calling up VSC today

Do not even bother. They will programmtically say "we are processing cases up to August 15, 2001. Yours will be 3-4 months away". It's waste of emotion to call these idiots.

called today

waiting for almost 40 minutes..listening to Vivaldi 4 seasons...
man.. finally I hung up. I didnt talk to IIO

Calling VSC doesn't help

I had called them last week and the guy seemed to be angry. he asked me why did I call within 3 weeks although on first occasion I was told to call within 2 weeks. Anyway this time he said that wait for 30 working days and then call.My RD is 6th August,2001 and when I pointed out that they already started processing SEP/OCT he said you guys don't understand we are so much loaded with work...... they are a bunch of jokers who can't even process things sequentially but still it is better at least we don't have to bribe them to expedite the process.
I will never call them again and just wait.

Must be the same guy I spoke to last week, thats service with a smile for you. He told me they have thousands of these applications and you don't matter a damn

nimbak & Anita

I think the guy's frustration maybe due to frivolous callers. Our anxiety notwithstanding, they consider our frequent calls a nuisance. You may argue that IIOs are meant to provide information, but this guy opines that the information we seek can be readily obtained from AVM and/or processing time reports published by VSC. I would like to believe that had either of you had other reasons to call (address change etc), he would have been more receptive in handling your request.

well it may be a frivolous call for him but if they don't process sequentially then one tends to get worried. If your RD is 6th Aug,2001 and people one/two months after you are getting approved frequently then how do you explain that.....I guess instead of being angry he should have told the fact behind this
time lag. Whatever may be the fact, it may be that some officers are slow or it may be they are parallel processing or may be they start from the end of month ....... Anyway we don't have any option...but to wait and wait for ever.....

Totally agree with WheresMahGreen

Furthermore would like to add,
An IIO can in no way advance your case,
But can definately delay it,

If he/she is in a bad mood,
Got off the wrong side of the bed
Or had a argument with his/her spouse/GF/BF
etc etc etc

Remember All calls to IIO's are documented, and an IIO can put in NASTY remarks there which would hamper your case.

So why get in that situation in the first place.

just my 2 cents
