My RD 6/22/01 and ND 7/16/01. I am living in San Jose, CA area. My NIW I-140 was approved by TSC in 4/01. My lawyer called TSC one month ago and was told the FP was requested for me and it would take a couple of months. After hearing so many stories about calling TSC to REQUEST FP, I called TSC twice today. First time I talked to a lady and she told me that my FP has been requested and is in the system waiting for a date from local ASC and it may take another 2 to 3 months. I was just going to ask her if she could expedite since so many after me already got their FP, the phone was disconnected (I am not sure why). Then I tried again. After waiting for a hour, I talked to a lady again (I am not sure if it is the same person). Now she told me that my FP request is in an automatic scheduler and I will receive it 2 to 3 months before my case goes to an officer for adjudicating. She also said they are scheduling FP for cases received before May 2001 now and she cannot predict when I can get mine. So it does seem FP is a key and now TSC is approving AOS right after FP (no matter it is the first or the second). I feel very frustrated since I have seen so many people submiting cases as late as 1/02 got their FP already. What else can I say to them to expedite my FP?
I also have a company sponsored I-140 approved in 1/02 and I am not sure if I can submit another AOS to CSC, which is much faster and more important much more predictable. Has anybody submitted two AOS before?
