Calling FBI to verify FP status

Been calling the FBI to verify status of my FP...

after dialing 304-625-5590, I take private individual (2), then prints submitted thro agency (3), then (1) to speak to representative...

However i never been able to reach anyone...it always goes to the voicemail or sometime not even voicemail - just ends call...

I remember talking to a representative after my 1st FP - 2 yrs ago...Anyone can tell me how to reach a representative now??? are the options I selected correct? am I suppose to leave my details & let them call me back?

there is another phone number, which usually live person will pickup.

Try calling the same number. Wed-Fri 8 am-5 pm. is ideal to contact. Stay on the line till some one answers your call. It may take upto 15-20 min. I did check my FP status results on phone with FBI, though it is not updated on USCIS online.

thanks guys...
i ttok another shot at the options given...and this time went directly to option 3 -> talk to contact representative at level 1 menu - that person checked the FP status for me...

online msg changed for me & spouse to fp received - processing resume...now to wait for their next step...

Anyone got averages on wait time after 2nd FP? Does 2nd FP mean no RFE? any opinions anyone?

when did you get your fp done? I just got mine done last week and just want to know what the timeframe is to start calling FBI to check on my FP status...
