I did not know if I should call FBI and find out about my finger printing status for the following reasons:
1. Having to wait for a long time on hold.
2. Talking to someone who would be rude and bark at me, end up ruining my day.
3. Did not know how long they would take to process my case (calling too early or too late)?
I had my finger printing done on the 3rd of Jan from Detroit. I decided that two weeks was a good time to call the FBI at (304) 625 5590. I entered option 4. I called them the first thing in the morning at around 8:30 EST. I told them that I was calling to find the status of my finger printing for Immigration Purposes. He asked me for my A number. He said that they had sent the report to INS the same day I gave the finger printing. I guess they process it the same day. I wish INS was that quick.
Good Luck
