Calling Congressman did NOT help

Atleast in my case, calling congressman honda did not help.

According to the lady, they got a resposne from INS and that it takes 730 days after RFE resposne. She was like, we have never heard of cases approved soon after RFE and that the 8 months that I've been waiting is absolutely normal..

Obviously she does not know what she's talking about.

This is total BS.

First my employer gave up, then my lawyer and now this congressman Honda's office....

Completely frustrating... I guess a fax-a-day campaign starts for me.

I would take the matter with her supervisor since she obviously doesn't know what is going on. Also, it would be worthwhile to ask the Senators Boxer/Fienstein to help. Their office carries more weight and you might find some smarter people there to help you.

Have you sent any faxes at all? Any responses?
Why don't you write to senators Feinstein and Boxer? When writing, mention the problem.
Also, look into CIS manual - there is a chapter on inquiries where they say that sending a fax is valid in these cases.... one of which is ND past JIT and the other one no response to RFE withing 60 days or something, so you definitely have a case for sending a fax to div XII.

just sent a regular fax... didn't do the division XVII thing...

don't worry i'll be given plenty of chances... let another 15 days go by and i'll do a division 12..

I ain't going no where.... Me and INS, INS and Me are mates forever
