Calling all those who have had recent interviews at Islamabad(Family visa category preferably males).
Are males put to AR or security check?If yes how long is it taking after the interview?

Male Security Check @ Islamabad Counslate

My parent had interview on oct 25, 2005 @ Islambad. My mother got visa on same day but counslate kept my fathers passport. They told him that he cleared the interview but need some more processing and it will take 45 days.

Waiting so far, i called after 45 days and response was i might have to wait 45 more days. Still waiting, Please post any update information if you have any.

Hi all

How long after the beneficiary receive packet 3, the ISB embassy schedule an interview and what documents they require? I am just planning a little ahead for my brother over 21 sponsored by my Mom, a USC.

The admin review varies from person to person,there is a recent incident at Islamabad a few days back when a young couple went in for the interview,both got their immigrant visas next day.

Amjad,does your father have a common name?and whats his age?

My father has a very common name and he is 59.

It takes about 1 to 2 months to schedule interview.I have 4 family cases last year were interviewd at Islamabad, the most important document they ask:

1. birth certificate with both parent name on it.

2. Other important evidence is photograph taken with petitioner over the period of time.

3. Correspondance between petitioner and beneficiary.

I also added my bank statements in which i use to send my parent money and officer also checked those
