Called Vermont about address change.

I moved to a new address last year. I filed AR-11 twice. One was immediately after I moved. One was when I found INS had my old address in local service center couple monthes after I filed first AR-11.
I heard that INS will discontinue their service centers' phone numbers starting June. So I just called to make sure that they have my right address.
I talked a nice lady after about one hour redialling and waiting. She told me that they still had my old address. So I told her my current address. She told me that she will update my address today.
From my experience, just file AR-11 is not enough. You need to call them personally.

I didn't.

I didn't ask the process time for my case since I think her reply would be useless. But she volunteered that info. She told me that current processing time is Dec. 3. It would take several monthes for my case to be processed.

I guess ....

Till the dates at the website ( from where the lawyers pickup the dates they post [I guess it is the dates that INS provides AILA] ) changes to something different, they probably would stick to Dec 3rd ( and I too would stick to it ). This date just changes around the month end and so wait for another few more days for new dates. But if the phones at VSC goes silent then we might miss the direct talk with IIO (even if they provide info that we aren't too happy about )
