Called USCIS today

I called USCIS today to confirm my change of address notification. The IIO took the necessary information and said that she would send us a mail within 30 days. I had a question with regards to change of address notification.
The change of address is from NJ to CO. The company is still based in NJ. Does it mean that my service center will change ? The last time I sent the AR-11 ( from NJ to CO) was a year and a half back and the Service Center did not change. However, the IIO seemed to indicate today that there is a possibility of the Service Center changing. Any ideas ?

According to my lawyer, when I asked him about changing location some time back, his answer was "there is a possibility". But I know some people personally who changed location which comes under different service center, their service center did not change. I have seen some postings in this forum, where the case was transfered to local INS.

I guess the best answer to your question is that anything with INS is pure luck and you got to what you got to do.

Hope this helps.

I changed my address from VSC to TSC.
I got my second finger print notice to new address from
VSC. They can transfer to local INS but not transfer to different
service center.
It may help you.
