Called USCIS Emergency Number and I485 waiting for finalize, what does that mean?

My husband is principal applicant and his I140 was approved on 12/10/04. He is EB2, PD is 12/2001. LC approved on 03/05/2004, I140 and I485 receive date is 03/12/2004. FP is done on 4/30/2004.LUD is 10/27/2004.

Since the new JIT is 05/07/2004, I called the USCIS emergency number today. Firstly the agent was not happy with my calling because he thought it is for emergency. Anyway he asked my receipt number and said my case is depending on my husband case. My husband case is waiting for all completed and finalize. He would not tell me more. I am just wondering if his case is FBI name check. The agent told me don't call again about my husband case and we both can apply EAD to finish I485. He said I was not supposed to call them and let our attorey to inquire our cases if we need. Finally he told me don't pay attention to the JIT.

Now my feeling is not good. Anybody has the same experience?

Sometime back I called emergency no and I got more or less sme reply. It is, i guess some security check, mostly name check, so just keep you fingers crossed
