Called TSC - Waiting for a visa number

Dear All,

Please see signature on my case details and below updates I recieved from the IO at TSC when called using the POJ method. Are there anyone in the situation similar to my case? Should I give up any hope of getting approval until the visa number becomes current again for my case? I guess I missed the boat this time. What do you all think? Thanks.

Case is with an officer. Decision to be made within 4-6 weeks.

8/9/07
Case is ready for an approval and currently with an officer. Completed all security checks. Waiting for a visa number.
 
There approvals from TSC than NSC in Aug ...i think u shud get our approval in few days....Good u get so much info from TSC IO....

Thanks for the reply. I have been calling TSC on a daily basis since I saw the LUD change on 7/24. I just posted the ones that gave me with any info related to my case. There were multiple times I spoke to an IO that did not give any info and told me to check the status online.

I was also hoping that my case would be approved in the next few days until I spoke to the IO today. She was adamant that my case will not be approved until the visa number is available which would be earliest in Oct.
 
My 50th EAD was approved today, still no sign of 485 approval......very depressing. When I first saw the card production order email, I was excited thinking 485 approved. Unfortunately, it was the EAD approval which I renewed last month and had a RD of 7/12/07.

Congrats for 50th EAD approval ;) . I know there is a typo :D
 
Folks I called Nsc IO today...

she said my case was with officer from july 30th till aug 10th(for brief period) but from today it is not with officer. and i asked why, she said the same thing its pending...
Dont know for what it is pending....

On aug 8th in infopass appt. they told my case is under review with officer and i should here from them in 30 days.

Anyone in my situation...any guess
Will the file be again pending after officer review....any reason, my case no RFE also,

I called them again this afternoon......the lady IO was very rude and did not gave any info. She told to either check the status online or call back the same number and select the case referral option.
 
I called also today to TSC and the IO is very rude! I actually called in since my spouse's EAD expired yesterday and there is no sign of approval despite that we renewed since April 25. I got my GC early May and there is also no sign of approval for my spouse despite the name check has been cleared (information from another IO) since April 26. Very very depressing...:mad: :mad:
