Since TSC is very slow on 485 I called a month ago (Feb 23) to know any updates. They gave me a ref no and asked me to call back after a month if I don't hear from them. A week after my call they sent me a FP-2 notice for my 12 years daughter.
We did the FP-2 (please see my signature) and received nine e-mails "we responded to your request for more information on your case.........". The nine e-mails were sent on March 23, 2006. I didn't get any information yet. Also, I found LUD on All the 485 files on March 25. The officer didn't say anything about the name check issue. He took ALL the information and said that I will pull your file and see what to do.
I am from a non-retro country (RD March 28, 2005 and they are processing Sep 2005).
Just to share my experience.

how do you get to officer

I just called TSC and waited for 30 min until I got a person to answer my call. This person identified himself as officer xxx and by the end of the call he gave me a ref number and asked me to call him back if no action is not taken in a month. In fact he took an action by sending the FP-2 for my daughter. He was not very nice at the beggining, but during the call he started to be very friendly. I didn't flood him with my questions but I let him telling me the details.
It was just a pure luck.

wait a sec.... 12 year old is not supposed to go to biometrics. I think FPs are for kids older than 14... I never received FP notice for my son (he's 12), only for me and my wife...

Yes I did receive a FP notice (code 2), not biometric, for my 12 years old daughter. Please call them also. When I called TSC, the person asked me to wait for few seconds after I started to explain the situation. Then the officer spoke with me. It was the first time to call TSC and he asked me if I called before and then transferring me to the officer.
