She Asked Did You Receive Fingerprint Notice
I Said I Already Had Fingerprinting In May 2007

She Said My Case Is Pending And Visa Number Is Not Assigned

Anyone With Similar Experience And Case Got Approved Later?
 
When we called TSC IO last month, they did not give us any information on our pending 485 , But we got our 485 approved on 07/17/07. I can suggest you to take 'Infopass' appointment and talk to the IO over there.

If Visa Number Is Assigned They Will Tell Yes, Or They Dont Know...

I was told on 13th July that there no Visa number is assigned .But had approval emails yesterday.Hope u too get the emails soon.

I am reading your posts. I understand your frustration. Like Many others have already told you, this is something which is not under your control. I am sure you will get approved some day but getting so much worked up over something on which you have absolutely no control does not help at all.

I came to this country on H-4 in 1998 and my first H-1 got denied. Subsequently, a transfer of H-1 got denied in Feb 2002 and then had to go back to India. I was hoping to come back here in a month and therefore I had my apartment, car etc here. I was paying rent for six full months before I gave up. Also during that time somebody got hold of my debit card number and defrauded me to the extent of 13500 USD. Well, I did not give up. I came back here in 2004 and my GC got approved 2 days back.

So, Cheer up. You will get your GC soon. Have hope and try to stay in a positive frame of mind

I dinot have an LUD change after finger prints in mAy 2007. The last LUD was in march after my transfer to TSC from VSC.
Last time i talked to a IO using POJ she told me finger prints they have is from 2005 and the results ahvent been uploaded to there system. I told her Mam i confirmed from FBI and also info pass that finger prints ahve been sent on the same day.
So what I would recommend is
-> Call FBI
-> take InfoPass find the finger print and other security clearance status
-> If everything ok
-> call TSC and explain the same to them. While talking to them be courteous and friendly.

Then I Asked Her Do You Have Any Idea When Can It Be Assigned
She Said I Dont Know Sir

So What To Do

Saw some disturbing posts.

Calm down my friend, Just site back and relax for some time. When we always think of some thing like GC and when others are getting it without pain…, really it is kind of disturbing. Instead of going into depression try to do the things from your side strategically. That is the way to go. If we constantly site on this forum, all we get is a depression.

I use to think that putting a finger in Immigration matters and USCIS will hurt us in bad. I think lot of guys thinks that way.

Try to do some things from your part; I don’t see your details in the signature. Please provide those details and every one will share some ideas…do this or don’t do this.

Last month they said no visa number and not assigned to officer. My wife got approved and mine is pending. TOday when i called they said it is not assigned to officer and no visa number....

"No Visa number means" does not mean they dont approve.

Please provide me your details...If NC is cleared then we can do some things..and rest is luck
