Called the BCIS today

My RD is 11/19/02. My husband got the notice of 2nd FP three weeks ago while I keep getting nothing.

Today, he called the BCIS. They said my case has not been touched. Since 21 months have passed since the RD, the officer said he sent a service inquiry out.

Can any body tell me if my case has chance to be approved by the end of this year? I am working on EAD now and my EAD will be expired at the end of the year.
 
You can go for the 2nd FP if your 1st FP has expired along with your husband and the local office needs only one copy (your husband's). BTW, if you don't know you can go even for an early FP.
 
Immediate action

You need to apply for a new EAD ASAP. I am exactly like you RD NOV-21-2001. and EAD is taking 150 days, to make mistakes and assume your I-485 will take longer, just in case renew you EAD ASAP.
