Called INS yesterday to find about my AOS. Was lucky to get into the line in 3 tries, but had to wait for 36 minutes to speak to a live person.

Me: Good afternoon Maa\'m. I\'m so and so and would like to know the status about my AOS.
IIO: Very good afternoon. Could you please give me your receipt number.
Me: WAC #
IIO: Could you please verify you name, address and date of birth.
Me: I gave all the details.
IIO: Your case is still pending. We received your FP on 03/27.
Me: Could you please tell me if my FP is allright.
IIO. Let me go to the other system.
Me: What\'a bout the other system.
IIO: You know we have many systems here. We don\'t have all the information in one system. What\'s your A#?
Me: Gave my A# (lloks like the FP theory is correct)
IIO: Everything looks good.
Me: Could you please check my wife\'s. I gave her A#.
IIO: Looks good.
Me: Could you please tell me when do you think this case will be assigned.
IIO: Your case has to be on the "shelf" in order to be assigned. Your case will be moved to the shelf, when your FP info. is in the other system. Currently, INS moves the FP information after 60 days.
Me: But, I did my FP on 03/15.
IIO: It\'s date that your information was on our system.
Me: Thanks for all the info.
IIO: You\'re welcome.

Could anybody please validate "60 days FP theory".
