Called NSC For the 1st Time

I called the 1800-375-5283 number and I was transfered to NSC. I was able to talk to a live person within less than 2 minutes of waiting which shocked me!

I wanted to ask about the reason for receiving a Biometric code 3 notice while my wife didn't. The lady told me she can't answer any questions about my wife's case for privacy reasons! Any idea how I could get around this hurdle? My wife just moved to the US a couple of months ago, and her English still needs some work :D

How did you guys handle this problem?
 
she just needs to be around when you call. The rep will ask her name, alien no and if she gives permission to discuss her case with you. You can just prepare her for these basic questions.
 
You can probably talk to the officer as a translator. Your wife still needs to be around and maybe answer some simple questions.
