I spoke to the NSC customer service today regarding no fingerprint notice for my wife(Primary applicant) whereas I have received my FP notice. They wanted my wife to call regarding her application and would not give me any info. When my wife called the person said that she had already adjusted her status and that she should accompany me for my interview?????? When my wife explained that she had not received her approval notice he was confused and finally said that she does not need second FP as her FP's were receieved on July 9, 2003 and processing has resumed... blah blah the online message that recently changed although our FP's were done in 9/2002. My wife tried to explain that my online message is the same and he just said that your spouse needs to do his FP's but you don't. He then asked her if he had been helpful in answering all her questions????

Maybe we can have a call center in India for USCIS. Why call the NSC when this info can be obtained online?

Thanks peace_of_mind for your earlier input.

hadhkardi,
Do not worry too much on answer from 800 number. You got much of the info which you did not know earlier. One thing now you got is, your wifes FP were recieved in July 2003 and processing is resumed. Get your FP done and wait for the approval.
Meanwhile if you still want to be damn sure regarding your wifes FP..., ask your wife to call FBI ( I do not remember the number) give A# and ask the date when her FP was last updated and sent to USCIS.
I think date for FP getting cleared is more important than the date you visit the local office for FP.
