I called an IIO on Friday to check on status...
She asked me why r you calling every other week? (It looks like they keep records of people calling ). I said because I have seen approvals for people who's dates are after mine. She said that I have to relax and dont WASTE my and their time by calling to check on status and expect to hear from them in about 6 months. She also advised me to use the internet to check on status(as if I dont know about it... lol).

Any way, when I asked what dates are you currently procossing she replyed Nov 1 2001. right away I asked which date is that RD or ND... and guess what was the answer...... man these people are ignorents...... she said its the priority date.... can you belive that..........

My personal advice is not to call these people they are missleading and useless... save your time for something else.

Better not to call unless you hav to..

However inefficient she was, I guess she gave you the best advice. Why call every week.. It ain't gonna make it any better..
 
I also forgort to tell you that she told me that my case was not even assigned to an officer..... What I will do is drop the subject from my mind for a couple of weeks and if no news I will start to get worried.
