I think what VSC refers to as RD is the ND on your 485 receipt. I never recieved my reciept so I have no way of confirming this but thats my conclusion based on a number of postings here. To confirm, those of you with receipts....on the 485 receipt...which date (RD/ND) matches with the VSC recorded message which goes "Your 485 blah blah was recvd on..." ???

Thanks.

While it\'s good to see that VSC is moving forward, I\'d take information from IIOs with a huge grain of salt.
First, depending on who you talk to, information is very inconsistent. I talked to one IIO lady a few weeks ago, and she
said they were still working on 1998 cases and that it takes about 2 years to get one\'s case approved...
Second, from this board, we know that there are still some 1998 cases pending, not to mention a bunch of Jan-Mar\'99
cases. Basically, there is quite a wide spread in Receipt Dates that are being processed. Currently, it seems like the bulk
of cases they are doing is in Jan\'99-Mar\'99 RD range. So, potentially, the difference in time of approval for cases with the
same RD may be about 3 months. I don\'t have any idea what causes one case to go ahead of another case with the same
RD. I just hope I\'d not be the unlucky one to have to wait the extra 2-3 months...

I think the key here is that VSC seems to be moving forward at a decent pace. If they can keep this up for another
six months or so, maybe they\'ll clear the backlog. BTW, my details are EB2, RD 03/17/99, ND 04/05/99, FP 02/??/00, Other.
Hoping to get my GC approved in the next 2 months.

Any feedback?

I agree. At least in my case, the recorded message DOES say "we
received ... on Date-A" where Date-A is exactly my ND.
