called IIO today

I called IIO today, RD 10/01
First she said that my case is pending.
theni asked her if my security check is completed
then she said you will get a letter for additional evidence in 14 days.

was she saying just for the heck of it or she is issuing me an rfe just for calling

last time i called INS was in OCt and that is it

I don't think they have the authority to issue RFEs I've called more than that. Don't worry it is not her decision.

may be beacuse you mentioned 'security check'

she thought you may have some unconfidence on the check.
