Spoke to IIO after trying 5 times and holding for about 7 minutes to update my new address. I already sent AR-11 form to Washington. But they had my old address in the system.
Then I asked how long will it take to get my approval. She said "Nowadays it is taking around one year, you can expect your approval in another 45 days to 3 months, currently we are processing applications that were received on 09/01/2001".
Thought this may be helpful to others...

Thanks for sharing the info. Looks like our tracking systems are not far off the mark from that IIO's expectations. My attorney also maintains that these days VSC takes anywhere from 12 to 14 months for approval. Earlier (around the time I applied for 485), his estimate was 10-12 months. Good luck to you.

Same number...(802)527-4913

Actually I moved to this new address on August 1st. But I tried INS number so many times to update the address from work, never got through. Today I tried on my way to work, luckily got through within few attempts.

more info...
She updated my wife's file also with the new address.

Hope to get my approval before December 2002.
