Called IIO today (08/06/02) morning ....

Got the line in just Second try (luck !!)
But had to hold for more than 30 minutes .. :o

After initial exchange of greetings , I gave my Rcpt No.

IIO informed me that my RD is 08/03 and they are processing
08/01 (they tell different dates to different people according to RD of person calling).

I asked if case is assigned to officer, she said can't tell bcos they don't have access to that info.

Finally asked how long its taking to process renewal of EAD , she said 60 days.

Nothing new ... wait continues.

those IIOs are all 'amazing'. They never tell you useful info.
Prentend a deaf ear, buddy. Nothing we can do becasue we are begging!

Yes I agree with you . Yesterday when I spoke to IIO about my case, she said they CANNOT reveal the info as to whether the case has been assigned to an officer or not.

These people tell something when called. I was told on Jul 19th that my case is under review and I shall here something about the decision within a week. The following week I heard about two of my friend's approvals, one with same dates as me and another with dates around mine. But nothing happened in my case till today. 18 days passed, same old message in AVM. Changed address that time. Hope this may not be the reason for delay.

Planning to call again this Friday.
