Called IIO this morning

Hi, Guys:

My case was filed in Jan/2002 and
20 months have gone now.... So I called
the stupid BCIS center to inquiry my status.
Though I know that they don't know much,
but what else can we do? I called and the guy
is nice. Since my case has been pending over 20
months (the magic number), he told me that he
will send something to VSC to inquiry my status.
Then I asked for to talk to a so called IIO.....The
lady is nice but she couldn't tell me much, even about
whether my case is assigned or not. I asked some
questions about security check, document etc..., she told
me that I have nothing to worry about and it's just normal
to take that long.......So guys, what else can we do? 20 month
is normal, will they tell us later that 25 month is normal too???

Have your FP1 expired, did you get ur 2nd FP, let us know ur case details

I have similar case with No 2nd FP, RFE

My first FP was in March 20, 2002 Now its 18 months with no 2nd FP.

What can be done, my 20 months are going to be over tomorrow. Should I wait till tomorrow to call IIO or can I call today ?

Change your address and file AR11, THAT may trigger a RFE. . .

Yeah .. or renew EAD or apply for AP.
When you do this, you need to attach a copy of your I-485.
Hope when they key-in the information, they will notice that your I-485 has been pending for so long and this as a result *may* trigger something.

I have asked for 3rd EAD renewal 3 weeks ago.

Also I did apply for AP 2 months ago, still no change
