Called IIO today. IIO was suprised to find out that my case was still sitting on the shelf now that they are processing 15 Oct 99 cases. She told me that she will write a note and bring it to the attention of the concerned people(I wonder who that is) so that my case can be assigned to an officer for processing. It just never ends with INS.
