Called IIO ND 11/00

I just spoke to IIO about my 485 case and she told me that a officer is reviewing my case and the file is lying on officer desk from jun-4.
Anybody having idea about the reviewing and how long it will take.
My details are
EB2-RIR(India)
PD 04/99
ND 11/00
EAD-AP 02/01
FP 03/16/01

Any suggestion is appreciated.

If what IIO said is true, you will hear from them within a month
or shorter. The question is how the IIO knows your case was on an
examiner\'s desk on June 4.

Thanks Ciba for reply. I asked IIO "how long does it take to approved" and she replied me it may take any number of weeks. But the way she replied me like no comments on my question.
Interesting thing is she only asked my WAC number and not A number at this time.
I check AVM in morning at still the same message 999 days.

I called again IIO today and asked status of my case. She replied me that my case is ready to adjucate and assigned to officer on Jun 27 and not on 4-June (last time IIO told me).
I don\'t understand the change in dates for different IIO from the same system.
I believe that all are using same system.
She told me it may take any number of days to approve, based on the officer.
Still I can not believe the IIO words.
Any one having same experience

I had the very same experience and my answers on three separate phone calls were:
1) Your case is with an officer and you should hear within a week or two
2) Your case is in our holding area and will soon be assigned to an officer soon
3) We haven\'t received you fingerprints yet and have no idea when your case will be adjudicated.

This is from three separate IIO officers supposedly using the same system. BTW some of the officers didn\'t even appear to know there was a second system that could be looked at.

When I asked about the my wife case then she told me "Your wife has to call separately".
The only thing she did is confirming my name and address.
I think I got more confusion and frustration after spoke to IIO

I think the best thing is keep away from them as they always give wrong answer and you get more confused after talking to them
