After may 10 rings got the line and wait time was 15 minutes not bad, but now the bad part such a dumb ass looks like hispanic.

Asked him about not receiving receipts for EAD renewal, he was blunt and said we did mail you period. Again what about iEAD since you take 10 months to process EAD, he said just tell them the new WAC # they will issue iEAD dont need receipts :confused: :confused: .

And 485 he said we are processing them in accordance with the rules :confused: :confused: :mad: :mad: :D :D I dont know what it is and said if your file is not complaint we will ask for more info if not process it. He did not even tell me about JIT blah blah .......

So did not help that much.

How did you made your payment to INS, was it personal check, cashiers check or money order ?

I am going to send it today. Pl let me know ASAP.

I did mail my application to Service Center not local office, I did write a personal check, i would suggest to write a personal check which you can view or get a copy of it from the bank. Just in case INS messes with mailing receipts can can see your WAC # on check.

Spoke with Desi IIO..

Just called INS to change my address for 485 and my already mailed out EAD card. She was very helpful..
Boy, I couldnt believe that I got the IIO in 10 minutes while I see some people post here as they waited for 1, 2 hours...
 
Spoke to IIO just now

After 40 minutes wait to get a line, got an
IIO just after 15 minutes of hold .. Surprise Surprise !

Only to be told that my case has not been assigned yet and it may be assigned today or tomorrow or anyday. I'm getting the same reply from Nov 02 when the JIT moved to Nov 16th . When asked about if sending a fax would help to move the case, he said " You can do anything but that is not going to do have any effect. Your file is complete and you just need to wait" . WHat a great piece of advice..

Unfortunately I forgot to ask about what will happen to the fingerprints .. since tney'll will be 1 year old this month end

I think the qualification to be employed in INS is to be a 3rd grade drop out and an unfailable arrogance :-( I wish they were at least curteous in saying what they are saying
 
RM_CSC, hispanics are also people. I read an article about the life of illegal immigrants, and it ain't pretty. The only Assholes in this country are the people who were born here and feel their shit doesn't smell. Rest everyone is hella cool.

how did u mail ur renewal papers. thru normal post or FED Ex.
we mailed it thru FedEx and got the receipts the very next week and the rejection notice the following week for my wife bcos i wrote the check for her.

I did mail them with USPS express mail and they cashed my check in three of days after they got it. NO RECEIPT well I have the copy of my check so I will try to use them as reference for iEAD.

I didn't mean to show hispanics as dumb, anyone can be dumb but this guy was not helpfull and did not have clue what is going on.

And when u talk about immigrants life those have citizenship and went through the whole shit feel that they are far more superior than most us and keep complaining that we are robbing their jobs, even though they themsleves migrated.

This a personal experience not a comment on a community or immigrants in general.
