I called an IIO to verify my address with them since I recently filed AR11 form. They have my correct address in their database. I also asked her about my case which has Jan22 RD. As soon as I asked her when can I expect approval, she mentioned that she need to take a look at my FP. so, there seems to be some logic associated with FP expiry.
She looked at my case and mentioned that my FP is going to expire on June 7 and I would be getting a second FP notice. My FP was on Mar7,2002 and the results were received by then INS on Mar14, 2002. But, it seems that the expiry is based on the FP date rather than the results date.
My FP was originally scheduled for Apr4,2002 which I completed earlier. It is going to cost me some more delay..... What to do?

There does seem to be some correlation between FP and approval as they do not want to overburden the FBI .

I don't think my FP expiration is anyway going to influence my case for speedy approval. It is going to trigger second FP and more delay...
 
FP does not matter

FP does not really make a difference as far as approvals are concerned. If more than 15 months have passed since your last FP, they will ask you for a second FP.

The reviewing officer will get to your applicaiton when he/she has to...there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to speed the process up !

So hang in there, and you will get to the other side soon !

sanrishi, I share same FP dates with you. I called IIO today, she said next week FP will expire. But didn't say when they will send out the second FP notice. I checked some other cases, they even have Feb FP date, so it's pure luck that they pick up your case, find out the FP expire and send the notice.
 
Question sanrishi

When you applied for the AR--11 did you also notified to the INS vermont or you just notified to the Justice departmnet in Kentucky.

I sent the AR11 form to the justice dept only. I have not sent it to vermont directly. I also called vermont last month to update my address. Today, I made a call to make sure they updated it correctly.
 
Do not try to derive from the answers we get from talking to IIOs

they are giving answers without thinking .. for our repeated stupid questions :D:D
