Called BCIS: Interesting Info about processing date

Called customer service center yesterday to inquire about my 485 status. My RD Jan 2002. They asked me call back after several months. She told me they are processing only upto May 08, 2001 cases. I asked their processing date and she confirmed the date as May 08, 2001. She also told me that they are working only on backlog cases right now.
What do I say about her knowledge on processing dates????

Has she returned after a long vacation, may be after a layoff, who knows.
They don't know anything.

She might be looking at Texas service center dates. It has processing dates in the range May 08, 2001.
