Called just now and as usual no concrete reply.
The lady was polite and said since processing time is 20-21 months for 485's, there is nothing new in my case. Iam asked to call back in 1st week of October.
About AP, my case is overdue past 90 days, she said to prove your reason for request for emergency AP. Local office has been instructed not to issue Walk-in AP's unless its real emergency (Death or serious illness of a close relative).
That too a doctor has to give a letter proving that this applicant really needs to see someone close and should visit home on seeing the diagnosis and prognosis of the sick.
Sucking big time, full-time, part-time, everytime and anytime!!
